The Dead End Cemetery- Halloween

** Hello all! There WILL be Halloween shows for 2023.  The shows will go live on Saturday, October 7th at sunset **

Hello all! It’s a bit late in coming but I want to take a moment (a lengthy moment as my closing messages are always…) to say thank you to all of those that came out over the month of October to enjoy the Halloween light shows. Given the kind of year we all have had, I hope my shows can be tucked away in the memory banks for the years to come as a positive for 2020. I was fortunate to be able to meet a lot of new guests as well as rekindle conversations with many familiar faces. On Halloween night alone, I had 580 trick-or-treaters plus numerous “big kids” (aka adults) that also got treats too. It was very heartwarming to see so many smiling faces and hear many appreciative, kind words. Thank you to all for making my 2020 a little better too! I do want to give a thank you to my neighbor and great friend Brian Scott Bronson for, once again, being my “monkey” to climb on the upper level of the roof to hang the lights as well as all of the other help he provided this Halloween (and all of the other set-ups over the years as well) with setting up, running cords, and even with dismantling (the strike) the set up. I find that as the shows grow each year in size and complexity and as I am aging, though my brain says, “Go-go-go!” my body says, “Not today, Superman!” I do not think I could have pulled off this year’s Halloween show without his help. So, not only am I very thankful for his help, I am very appreciative as well. The 2020 Home for Christmas production is well underway. Everything has been fabricated and is ready to be put into place. I have a wee bit of programming left but otherwise, over the next week or so, the decorating will be starting. I anticipate it taking just over three weeks to set up and my intention is for opening night to be Sunday, December 6th at sundown! I think this year’s theme/set up is a fun one and, possibly, going to be a favorite of mine. So, until we meet again, I thank ALL of you, wholeheartedly, for your time, continued support, encouragement, and kind words! Please stay safe and healthy and I will see you all again soon when you come “Home for Christmas!” Goodnight and God bless! Chris

Please check the “Shows Times and Schedule” tab for the current show times and dates!

Hello and welcome to The Dead End Cemetery located outside the south end of Lafayette, Indiana. The Dead End Cemetery comes “alive” for all to enjoy but I do keep it kid friendly. This consists of light shows set to various Halloween-themed music along with many other child-friendly decorations and props. Each year it grows in size as well as popularity with my numerous visitors and guests. The shows will run nightly through Halloween night when countless “kids,” both big and small, visit to get their fill of treats and fun. Please take a moment or two to look over some of the pictures and videos.  I thank you and look forward to your spirits joining me at the Dead End Cemetery 2023! page where you will find 69 videos from the years past.
